Wind Of Softwing apps is a start up that aims to create Android applications as lightweight as possible, without ads (ADS), that work offline, without in-app purchases and without requiring permissions or personal data.
This concept comes from my own experience as a user, tired of downloading “freemium” apps full of ads that compromise a calm experience.
The goal is to focus on stand-alone applications, even if for some apps system permissions may be needed (e.g., sensors or storage access). My promise is to categorize the apps clearly, specifying on this website the category of each application.
In the Privacy section you can verify that no personal data will be collected by installing and using my apps. I also created a second categorization mode to guarantee clarity and redundancy in addition to what Play Store already declares during app download.

The least invasive applications will be the "No-A.C.a.P.p." apps, meaning:

- No ADS

- No Connection

- No in app Purchase

- No Privacy sneak

- No permission

So, if an application on this website is classified, for example, as "No-A.C.a.P." it means the app requires access to one or more smartphone sensors. While "No-A.a.P.p." means the app needs an internet connection.

My only revenue will be the purchase price, as low as possible, to make access affordable and (hopefully) achieve a good number of downloads. Transparency is everything. Below you will find the list of apps available on Play Store, with their descriptions. Maybe one day I will also land on AppStore... we’ll see!

Savings Savior (FREE)

Very often, supermarket customers find themselves in front of similar products, with prices and weights that make mental calculation difficult. This app helps you quickly compare the price of two products in relation to weight.

Uses:

- Enter the price and weight of two products (net or drained, when applicable) and the app will tell you which one is cheaper -

- Option to enter the number of pieces for cases where multiple items are inside the package and the total weight is not specified -

- At the bottom, the savings you get by choosing the cheaper option will appear, calculated against what you would have spent for the same quantity at the higher price -

- Below the savings calculation, a button lets you add the product to a list with its savings -

- At the bottom of the screen, you will see the list of chosen products with their savings and the total savings -

- You can rename products and delete items from the list, with an option to clear the whole list -

- Available languages: Italian, English, German, French, Spanish, Simplified Chinese -

- Available currencies/units: Euro/Kg, Dollars/Oz, Yuan/Kg -

Personally, I consider this app the engine of my project. By using this simple app consistently, you can save an average of about 4 Euro/Dollars/Yuan (and other currencies) every time you shop at the supermarket.

A simple app to track players’ life points. Recommended for games that use units and not thousands (not Yu-Gi-Oh, but Magic: The Gathering and similar).

Uses:

- From 2 to 4 players -

A simple chronometer that is very convenient for training, with one small feature I personally find very useful.

Features:

- Classic buttons: “Start” (starts the timer), “Reset” (resets to 00:00.00), “Stop” (stops the timer) and “Lap” (takes a split time) -

- Set an interval from 1 second to 30 minutes. Each time the selected interval ends, the app plays a sound. For example, with 1 minute it will play a sound every minute. Very useful so you don’t need to look at the timer every time -

A tool that simulates 3 classic tests performed with Zener cards.
This app aims to be both a way to self-test your ESP abilities and a professional tool for psychologists who want to test the field of parapsychology.

App structure:

- The app offers 3 Zener card tests: a clairvoyance test, a telepathy test (to be done with 2 people) and a precognition test -

- On the main screen there is an “Instructions” button where the steps to perform the tests are explained in detail -

- For each possible result on a run of 25 draws (25 draws per test), there will be a percentage and an explanation of why your result is more or less significant from a statistical point of view. This is meaningful to understand whether an ESP event may have occurred -
